Financing
Owner Financing
This is one of the
most common forms of financing for a new buyer.
The usual down payment is 20% - 50% with the most
common being 33%. Terms will fluctuate depending
on several different factors.
SBA Financing
Small Business
Administration loans offers more flexible terms
than conventional financing and in many cases,
seller financing. Business acquisition financing
with a SBA loan will allow you to buy a business
with a lower down payment, longer terms and
competitive rates. The amount of the loan is
usually up to a maximum of $1.5 million with 10% -
15% down. Length of loan can vary from 10 to 25
years.
Conventional Loans
The traditional
lending sources are still available but usually
have requirements that are more stringent.
